A Premonition?
Dear Dreamer,
Earlier this summer, I had a dream that I was at an event where Trump was the invited guest speaker. He walked out onto the stage, stepped off the stage, and immediately headed for a group of women gathered in the front row. Ignoring the rest of the audience, he tried to start conversations with these women directly.
One of the women, who was larger than the rest, placed herself between the group and Trump, using her chest and arms to hold him off the other women as if she were their bodyguard.
The next day was the summer’s first shooting at a Trump rally.
This dream left me wondering: during these extremely turbulent collective times, how can we prepare to defend what is most precious and vulnerable?
I know that our dreams are trying to help us stand up, say no, take action. They are trying to instill us with an inner strength we can draw upon in moments of fear or hopelessness.
That’s why I created The Scorpion’s Nest: Calling Upon the Dreams that Come in Support of Our Courage, an 8-week program to develop relationship with our supportive dream figures and cultivate unique dreaming practices in depth. Today is the last day to enroll. Click below if you’re ready to fortify your courage in defense of wild softness.
