ABOUT TSUYUNO

As a child, my little cul de sac had a square, concrete, walled-in area where everyone’s garbage bins lived. Through the eyes of children, it was the perfect stage and backstage structure, and myself along with other neighborhood kids would direct each other in street performances in front of the garbage. So I have always been an artist.

And, whether believing I could make the wind blow, or assigning different superpowers to little stones I collected and prayed to, my imagination since childhood has always led me to something of the spiritual.

As I grew up, I began life-long practices of improvisation, acting, dancing, and performance that dipped in and out of professional and self-produced work. My studies in dance and environmental philosophy at Bennington College opened my thinking about embodiment and somatic practice as ecological tending. My creative practices deepened with a lens of relationship to environment.

When I began studying dreams in 2021, I dreamt of a powerful figure who came out of the ocean, looked me directly in the eyes, and reached his hand out to me.

So my journey as a dream guide began.

Now my work is guiding people in cultivating their own innate creativity and imaginal capacity to be in touch with something bigger and beyond in their lives. Think of me as a coach in DIY spirituality—I want to help you make your own rules in rituals of spiritual connection, and find the creative process that your soul wants to live. I combine dreamwork, somatics, and my lifetime of creative exploration in service of facilitating continual relationship with the more-than-human world.
